PROMOTION SUNDAY

TRANSITIONS.
Sixth graders move from First Lights to Illuminate Youth.
Little Lights move from downstairs to upstairs (this is a fluid procedure that we play by ear depending on the individual children in our ministry. Every Little Light has an individual promotion plan that is rolled out slowly and carefully throughout the fall season.)
Other children in First Lights may be moving to a different small group because they are changing grades.
Sometimes the transition is no transition at all, which can still be a transition! Whew!
This is a milestone moment in the church and for your family. We want to help you celebrate it and make it a special day.
Parents are invited to join us for the opening of our Sunday School program for special snacks and games. This is also a great time if you know a family that’s new to our ministry! Invite them to join us so we can introduce them and their kid to our ministry!
