First Look Week of January 6, 2020

Its’ time for a Beach Party—sand, sun, and a whole lotof fun! Jesus spent a great deal of time on or near the beach. In fact, He performed MANY miracles near the water. So, the beach is the perfect environment for our preschoolers to learn that Jesus can do anything.
Our preschoolers learned that God gave us Jesus in December, and now they will learn that because Jesus is God’s Son, He can do anything! With God all things are possible! Throughout their lives, children will encounter things they can’t do. But, in Jesus, they have a friend who can do it all. There is no better friend than Jesus, and He wants to be our friend forever.

First Look Week of December 2, 2019

The very first Christmas looked a lot different than the one we
will experience over the next few weeks. It was a string of God
planned events that would come together to create a wonderfilled
story that would be told again and again and again.
God sent His Son to earth in the form of a human baby who grew to
be a man like no other. Ultimately, He gave His life for us.
This month, we celebrate the beautiful gift of Jesus. We want preschoolers to say again and again that, ‘God gave us Jesus.’
We want it to live deep within their hearts so they grow to
trust that God loves them with a love so great that He gave
them His one and only Son, Jesus, to be their friend forever.

May we all pause under our own starry, starry night this year
and remember the wonder of what we are celebrating:

God gave us Jesus.

First Look Week of November 4, 2019

“Can you say thank you?” How many times will a child be asked that question in their preschool years? We ask them again and again because we want to help them learn to be thankful. This month is all about saying thank you. In fact, we are going to be bubbling over with thankfulness with our Bubble Factory theme.

Throughout the month, preschoolers will learn to be thankful for their family, friends, and food. And, they’ll learn that saying, “Thank you” is just as important as being thankful.

Imagine the preschoolers in your church learning to tell God thank you – for EVERYTHING – all while having fun with their small group leaders and friends. Imagine them growing up giving thanks to the Lord with their WHOLE heart.
