Throughout history God has proven His faithfulness to us, especially in keeping His promise to send Jesus to save us. God will continue to be dependable. The Bible is filled with examples of people who knew first-hand what it means to trust God. This month, we focus on two of them: Jacob and Joseph. Through their stories, we’ll discover how we can trust Him no matter what we face.

It’s extra hard to obey when you’re the only one, but God can give you the strength to do it. Noah followed through on what God told him to do for many, many years. Pray together, that God will help you listen to and obey the people in charge this week, even when others don’t.

Place a jar in the car for the entire week and tell your child that any person in the car who can’t control their emotions or words, will have to give $1 to the jar. Parents are included on this! At the end of the week, evaluate: “What made it difficult to stay in control of emotions or words? What happens when we lose control?” Use the money at the end to buy a special treat!
